Buck Bagwell

Responsibilities: Mr. Bagwell joined WJ Partners in 2017 as a Summer Intern and re-joined the team in 2018 after completing his MBA at the University of Chicago School of Business. He is responsible for executing investments and portfolio support. 

Past Experience: Prior to completing his MBA and joining WJ Partners, Mr. Bagwell spent four years at Deloitte in its M&A Advisory practice. At Deloitte, he helped middle- market private equity firms such as Thoma Bravo, Silver Lake Partners, Thomas H. Lee Partners, and Providence Equity Partners execute leveraged buyout transactions. Prior to Deloitte, Mr. Bagwell completed a one-year fellowship at the Financial Standards Accounting Board, where he conducted investor outreach and research on the new global accounting standards on revenue recognition.

Background: Mr. Bagwell graduated with high honors from Brigham Young University with a BS and MA in Accounting and earned his MBA from Chicago Booth as a Wallman Scholar.
